The Rosa Parks Green Schoolyard Committee would like to invite you to participate in our first Green Schoolyard Work Party of the school year, Sunday, Sept. 21st from 10am-1pm. Come meet other members of our school community and help to beautify the yard at the same time! We haven’t had a chance to work on the yard in a while, so we have lots to do and need your help!
Food: Every good work party needs food to fuel the work! We would once again like to make the work party a potluck brunch. Please bring some food to share if you can.
Kids: We will not have any childcare at this event, but you are welcome to bring your kids if they would like to play on the playground or help the adults. We hope you can join us! We are looking forward to seeing you soon!
Please join us for our first PTA meeting of 2008-2009! Childcare is provided, as well as dinner at 6:00pm. Meeting is from 6:30 – 8:00pm. We hope to see you there!
Celebrate our community by walking or rolling to school on October 8, 2008. There will be goodies for kids at school when they arrive, and the entire school will participate in a walk and roll parade. Walk/bike with other kids from your neighborhood: meet at the following locations:
Walking Meeting Points:
• Browning and Allston streets at 8:50am
