Miriam Macias-Castellanos (Room 6)

I am a Chicana, Tapatía born in Guadalajara, raised in eastside Stockton. Proud daughter of farm workers who taught me from a very young age the importance of a good education and of being bilingual. I am a lifelong learner. I love traveling and learning about different cultures, food, people, music, and art. I taught in the central valley for 9 years at a bilingual school before coming to Rosa Parks. This is my 5th year teaching at Rosa Parks and I love it!
